Highlights

For the first time the higher flux and antifouling PMIA/GO NF membranes were fabricated using phase inversion.

PMIA/GO NF membranes showed water flux was nearly 2.6 times as high as that of the pristine PMIA membrane.

The antifouling performance of PMIA/GO NF membranes was improved and the flux recovery ratio was nearly 99% for BSA.
